Workshop (deutsch): Digitalisierung und demokratie Fr. 27.6. 10:00- 16:00
Das hybride Seminar am Institut "Urbane, Regionale Innovation und Internet" (URii) am IfPol der Uni Münster diskutiert die Implementation und Evaluation im Bereich der Demokratischen Innovation und Elektronischen Innovation. Dabei werden Forschungsprojekte zum Thema Internet und Politik. Neben hybride Partizipationsformen mit der Verknüpfung direkter und deliberativer Demokratie (DDD) stehen vor allem die Verknüpfung von Offline- und Online Partizipation (blended participation)aber auch andere lokalpolitische Themen im Vordergrund.
Die folgenden verfahren stehen im Mittelpunkt: Forum gegen fakes (Make.org/Bertelsmann Stiftung); Bürgerrat Freiburg; Wer denkt was Marburg; Bürgerbudget Werder (Havel) , Consul (München).....

Smart cities can be regarded as the latest important administrative reform and digital innovation in most metropolitan cities globally. The international seminar focuses online platforms such as Consul and Decidim . Further topics open data, open innovation, online and offline participation, sustainability (smart energy, smart mobility, smart architecture etc.) as components of a smart city. International best and bad practices will be analyzed. Here the main regional focus is on Brazil and Germany. What are goals, structures and institutions of smart cities? What contextual factors are helpful? Who is included and who is excluded? How can successful smart cities be evaluated (Indicators)? What lessons can be learned? What will be the future of smart cities?

We will focus on 5 best practices: Partcipe+ (Sao Paulo); Decidim (Barcelona); make.org (AI Action summit); Consul (Paris); European citizen panel (EU)
